The gourd art on this website is my own creation.  I've been developing my art since around 2000 and have gained a unique interest in pyrography. I work in other media including stains, dyes, acrylics and watercolor, and am experimenting with metal and stone inlay. But in most of my work, whether it be rattles, vases, bowls or containers,  you're bound to find some pyrography. I would like to thank my husband Jon, perhaps the most patient man on this planet or any other, for his hard work on the gourd preparation, photography, and creating this website.  Though his name does not appear on the art, I wouldn't have been able to finish one piece without his tireless support! This work has been a great pleasure to create.  I hope that you enjoy your experience here.                                                        Candie Koehn
